FAQs

How long does it take you to build a website?

This depends on our current workload and the size of website. As a guide it’s usually 2-4 weeks from your initial confirmation that you would like us to build your website. We’ll be able to give you a better idea once you contact us for a quote. If you need a website sooner than that just let us know – we’ll do whatever we can.

What information do you need from me for you to provide a quote?

  1. A short brief of what your website needs to do. If you need particular functionality e.g. user registration or a content management system, then please say here too.
  2. The navigation menu for your site (also known as the site map). As an example, this might look something like this:
    • Home
    • About
    • Services> service a> service b
    • Contact
    • Map
  3. Just so we know what floats your boat, links to at least 3 websites that you like the look of.

Do you provide web hosting?

Yes we do but you would be under no obligation to use our hosting service(s). We can advise you on which other web hosting agents you could choose from unless you have one already.

Do you provide any after-service once the website is built?

Yes – for a period of 30 days after your acceptance of the website. After that we charge at our hourly rate.

Can I update my own website?

Yes – if you tell us you want to include a content management system. This will be an extra cost but is worth having if you know you may need to update your website often. We will train you on how to use this if it’s something you want.

Will you change the design of the website if I don’t like it?

We offer 2 reversions as part of all our packages. We hope that there wouldn’t be need for anymore than that as we won’t start to design anything without a full consultation with you. However, if you find you want to change something or add something new, of course we can do it. Just bear in mind major changes to the initial brief beyond the 2 reversions will cost you a little bit extra.
